“ We have visited Tender Lovin Grill a few times now. Every time the food had been good. We had multiple items like Teriyaki chicken bowl, Baja chicken salad, Wings, Chicken tenders, Teriyaki chicken wrap, Adobo chicken burrito, Baja chicken burrito, Mac n' cheese. Everything we tried is good. This is a go-to place when we like healthy and tasty food. My kid likes their mac n' cheese. This is a mom-and-pop restaurant staying strong when big box chains are taking over. We will visit this place many more times in future for sure. ”

“ Tender Lovin' Grill has a very interesting menu selection compared to what you are used to seeing at restaurants around Hillsborough. The chicken is some of the best I've had in town and I really enjoy the different sauces they offer, especially the chipotle BBQ. The potato slices were really good as well. I definitely recommend trying the food here! ”

“ I have been a customer for years. TLG is one of our go to for take out when it's been a long week. The chicken tenders, potato slices, & sweet slices are our favs. Tonight I got the Oh my goodness! salad & OMGoodness it is incredible. Not sure exactly what it going on but it is perfect, fresh, & light enough to still feel like I made a healthy choice. Thanks so much for being consistent. Oh and I could drink the Creamy Cilantro sauce!! ”

“ A great little family owned shop with top quality foods. I had a chicken and brie wrap with cranberries. They seem to have many good choices for any taste. I love the healthier options so I will keep going there. ”

“ Great restaurant! Just driving through the town and happened to stumble upon this restaurant. Seems like a lot of people do take out orders from here but there were few seats inside and a couple outside. The food menu was extensive and I wanted to try a lot on the menu. Ended up getting the steak burrito and it was delicious. It wasn't overly filled and it had just enough mixture and was perfectly wrapped. I do want to try their tenders and wings whenever I come through this way again. Worth checking out this place if you are driving through or live near by. ”

“ I really wanted to like this food spot. I stopped by Tender Lovin Grill for lunch. I walked in and there was a couple people inside eating. I grabbed the chicken tenders, mac n cheese and mashed potatoes. The chicken was good quality, not much seasoning but cooked well. The Mac n cheese was the best part. I liked that they didn’t use elbow macaroni, it’s something different and the cheese flavor was delicious. The worst were the mashed potatoes. This is what I really was in the mood for so I was bummed that they weren’t good. The potatoes were cold, very chunky, and just weak overall. The flavor on the gravy was very good. The owner behind the grill is very nice. He was giving suggestions the whole time I was browsing the menu. I suggest going on the website for the full menu because what’s posted feels pretty limited. One of the younger employees had a broom upside down and smacking dust around, that grossed me out a bit. I don’t think I’ll be back based on the $20 price tag for the tenders and two sides and average food. ”
